A regional project for bettering the conditions of freedom of religion or belief (FoRB) for women and girls in local communities across Africa, with implementation in local communities in Kenya, Cameroon and Nigeria, as well as cross-country mutual learning through activities in the Africa regional FORB Trainers Network. Local interfaith groups of women will make use a resource for grassroots awareness raising and mobilization for FoRB (the Local Changemakers Course) to help identify and address FoRB-related challenges for women and girls where they live. In parallel, faith leaders and community leaders will be brought on board through dialogue forums, and there will be additional activities for various groups in the community in order to raise awareness and work together to ensure rights are respected for all members of society and that no one is left behind.
