The Women Peace Building Engagement envisages promoting women’s role in peace building by mobilizing women from the EECMY structure and at the community level. The project aims at creating spaces for women to engage in decision-making for peace (peace leadership). In a context where women’s efforts are largely neglected and they are excluded from influencing peace processes, the project will enhance meaningful participation of women in locally driven and owned strategies for sustainable peace.
