This three-year MADEV project aims to create safer and more supportive communities for adolescent girls (15–18 years old) in Cairo, Giza, and Al-Amriya promoting dignity, safety, and community ownership while respective cultural sensitivities. It addresses gender-based violence (GBV) through legal rights education, psychosocial support, and community mobilization. Key activities focus on shifting harmful gender norms, and include peer awareness sessions, capacity-building for local NGOs, and engagement of caregivers and boys. To ensure sustainability, the project will conduct follow-up discipleship sessions and advocacy workshops, focusing on knowledge production through strong knowledge management support learning and adaptation.
