The overall goal is to improve food security in drought-affected regions in Southern Madagascar. This will be achieved by training farmers on climate-resilient and low-cost technologies, stimulate fodder production and increase access to vaccination. Nutrition will be improved by production of healthy food and increased competence on nutrition. Entrepreneurship in the villages will be promoted on production of farm inputs (seeds, tree seedlings and chicks), improving veterinary services, food processing and promoting women’s saving and credit groups.
