This is an extension of the existing project implemented by KOSHISH. The current project aims to strengthen Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPD) and Self-Help Groups (SHG). The goal is to enhance their capacity to effectively represent and advocate for individuals with mental health problems and psychosocial disabilities. By empowering OPDs/SHGs, the project aims to amplify the voices of this population, thereby increasing the demand for mental health services at both national, province and local levels. Guided by the principle of “Nothing about us without us” and “Leave No one Behind,” the project ensures that persons with mental health problems and psychosocial disabilities remain at the center of all processes and decisions, recognizing that empowerment and inclusion are critical drivers of systemic improvement.
