The present project of support to the education system, now in its third phase, aims to provide quality schooling for young people, who are the hope of tomorrow’s DRC in general and that of the Bas-Uélé region in particular. To achieve this, the project plans over a five-year period to: Train the teachers in pre-selected schools called “target schools” in new teaching methods (Active and Participatory Pedagogy = PAP); Train the principals of targeted schools in the administrative and managerial aspects of school management; Train and revitalize the parents’ and management committees in target schools.
